Oxford….A Market Of It’s Own.
Posted on February 25th, 2009 23 commentsSo all of the numbers are in, analyzed, and documented….Oxford must have all ready hit the bottom because the numbers don’t lie and our office, Re/Max Legacy, is up approximately 20% from this time last year. It is time to stop sitting on the side lines and start thinking about making a move or it may be too late to get the best deal possible. With interest rates at historic lows, unparralleled tax credit opportunities, and the market heating up for the selling season many of the smart buyers are jumping back in the market before it’s too late.
It still seems to be a buyers market with an abundance of property on the market and motivated sellers, however with each day that passes so does another good deal or two. For every month over the past year or so I have seen the leverage sit on the side of the buyer, but as of recently I can start to feel that leverage sway back closer to middle ground.
With all of this being said, there is still time to take advantage of a good buying market and with any decision of this stature you need to make sure to consult with a real estate professional that you feel comfortable with to help guide you through the entire home buying process and fill you in on any of the great deals that are still out there!
